Compelled by the love God has so graciously lavished on us, our desire is that others might know His great love and experience His grace in their lives. In His earthly ministry, Jesus modeled a specific concern for the poor, marginalized, and brokenhearted. He commanded His followers to pour out the compassion He demonstrated, not only through His life, but also through His sacrifice on the cross.
James 1:27 tells us that "religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." This opportunity to serve with Children of Grace offers the chance to partner in the work God is already doing in Uganda. It is a blessing to give of our time, resources, and talents to these precious children and know that we will constantly receive more blessing than we could ever give!
